This product is flame-resistant, reliably prevents leakage currents and energy losses, and its insulation remains intact at operating temperatures up to 205°C . In the event of a fire, it forms an insulating ceramic shell that prevents short circuits even at temperatures between 800 and 1000°C . This significantly improves passenger and fire safety for rescue workers and passengers .

Silicone insulation materials like ELASTOSIL® R 531/60 are critical for preventing electrical failures and short circuits .
